Officially it is called Paseo de Marti, but Cubans know it as Paseo del Prado. Work on this imposing boulevard began outside the walls in 1770 and was completed in the mid-1830s. The lion statues were added in 1928. The Paseo del Prado runs from Parque Central to the sea. It is flanked by beautiful colonnaded colonial houses and shaded by large trees. 🗺 How to get there? You can get there by public transport with the P11 bus, and get off at the National Museum of Fine Arts. Then you have to make a journey on foot of about 2 minutes. It can also be reached by taxi from the center of Havana, a journey of about 4 minutes or 35 minutes on foot. 📍Surrounding area In its surroundings you can find the Great Theater of Havana, the National Capitol of Cuba, the Museum of the Revolution and the National Museum of Arts among others.
