The seven beaches, in order of proximity to Havana, are: Bacuranao Beach, Mégano Beach, Santa María del Mar Beach, Boca Ciega Beach, Guanabo Beach, Jibacoa Beach and Trópico Beach. 💡Curiosities Each of the seven beaches that occupies this 9 kilometer stretch of seductive coastline has its own unique atmosphere. For example, Playa Boca Ciega is usually more frequented by homosexual couples; Playa Guanabo is full of shops, a lively nightclub and is full of private houses; while in Playa Santa María del Mar there is a greater number of resorts and foreigners. The beaches of Jibacoa and Trópico have beautiful coral bottoms, which is why they are especially recommended for diving. 🗺 How to get there? It is advisable to rent a car; but if you prefer to use public transport you can take bus line 64 at La Rampa, and then line 162 at Estación Central.
