They are a set of caves with more than 23 kilometers of galleries. Because of the beauty of their galleries and caves, the important paleontological findings, in addition to a wide range of crystalline processes were declared a National Monument. Beautiful enough to take your breath away, they are a true melting pot of scientific and historical knowledge to add to the country's cultural heritage. Remains of birds and vertebrate animals from the Quaternary era have been found in them. If that were not enough, their strange geological formations will awaken your interest if you are passionate about crystallography or speleology. In addition to the amazing stalactites, stalagmites, and helictites that populate them, the Bellamar Caves contain an unusual natural phenomenon that occurs only in them. It consists of solid calcite crystals that hang from the stalactites and have attracted the attention of geologists from around the world. In the Bellamar Caves, you can also appreciate other elements of great beauty, such as geodes, an underground stream that runs through the entire area, and the very precious crystal layer coverings that make the rooms shine with an almost supernatural glow.
