The greatest attraction of the Natural Park of La Mensura-Pilotos, located to the south of the Mayarí municipality, is the Salto del Guayabo, the highest waterfall on the island of Cuba located at 546 meters above sea level. The waters that cascade down the waterfall come from the Guayabo River and make up a truly spectacular view for visitors, who can enjoy it up close from the Guayabo viewpoint. El Salto del Guayabo is made up of two waterfalls with 85 and 127 meters of vertical fall respectively, which come together at the top and form an impressive set that is accessed by a path located on the eastern slope of the waterfalls. 💡Curiosities You can take an impressive guided route that reaches the viewpoint and descends again through the Salto del Guayabo, it is almost two hours of travel; In addition, the excursion allows access to the well-known Pozas de Rafael, where it is allowed to bathe calmly in authentic natural water formations. 🗺 How to get there?
